Index page – The index page is the main page of a website, usually defined as www.domainname.com. Since it is the page that gets most back-links and is the first one to be optimized it tends to be the one that has the highest PR (page rank) from the whole site and ranks best in search engines. Because of this it is highly recommended to have the index page optimized for the main key phrase and linking to the most important inner pages. On the same note, one of  the biggest mistake someone can make when it comes about creating a web site is to have only an intro on the main page since this way their index page will most probably never rank high enough in search engines to deliver a decent number of visitors. It is also called homepage.

Inbound linksThe inbound links are links that point to a certain sites from other sites (links from inner pages are not counted here).

Index – In the SEO world index is used to name a search engine database (the place where all indexed web pages cache are found). The most important index for each search engine is the main index, which is the name of the database which serves almost all search requests. There are also secondary indexes, for example supplemental results index.

Inlinks – The back links are the links that point to a certain site; links from other web pages as well as links from the inner pages are counted here. They are also called backlinks.

Internal Links – An internal link is a link pointing to a page which is located on the same domain; basically any link (either that we’re talking about a text link or a graphical button) pointing to a page within the site is an internal linking.

Invisible Web
– Invisible web is a term that describes any piece of information that exists on the web, but is not indexed by search engines. Most common reasons why a information is not indexed by search engines are: the information is password protected (for example the information that is available only for the members of a web site and which require the users to login in order to access it), the page where it is located was not found yet by search engines or the site where it is located was banned by search engines.

IP - IP is an abbreviation for Internet Protocol and it uniquely identifies any computer that is connected on the Internet at a certain moment. IPs can be dynamic (temporary) when the IP changes every time an Internet session is initiated or static (permanent) when the IP doesn’t change from one Internet session to another. Servers have at least one static (permanent) IP. When it comes about domain names, if one IP is pointing to only one site than we say that the site has a dedicated IP; on the other site if more sites have the same IP than we say that those each of those sites has a shared IP. Most of the time when talking about IPs is better to use the more exact term “IP address”.

IP Address - IP address is an abbreviation for Internet Protocol Address and it uniquely identifies any computer that is connected on the Internet at a certain moment. IP addresses can be dynamic (temporary) when the IP address changes every time an Internet session is initiated or static (permanent) when the IP address doesn’t change from one Internet session to another. Servers have at least one static (permanent) IP address. When it comes about domain names, if one IP address is pointing to only one site than we say that the site has a dedicated IP address; on the other site if more sites have the same IP address than we say that those each of those sites has a shared IP address. It is also referred sometimes simple as IP.
